High Cholesterol at Whataburger

Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Well, you can always try the Lighter & Smaller options from the menu to cut down your fat intake. Opting for grilled sandwich or burgers are preferred compared to double meat or triple meat cheesy burgers which contain high cholesterol.

Foods to Avoid at Whataburger for High Cholesterol

Cut down on your meat intake to control your high cholesterol. You must skip Double Meat Whataburger and Triple Meat Whataburger at all costs. Lastly, avoid French Fries and Onion Rings at Whataburger if you are already ordering a burger or any other heavy meal.

This is a sad-looking location. As a Miami Beach resident, it's a bit embarrassing to say that this Burger King is in our beautiful city. It looks so out of place among the posh storefronts around 41st, and definitely not a beautiful sight to see as you get off the causeway. The parking lot seems to usually be strewn with garbage (I drive by here every day on my way home). I know one of the reviewers mentioned a remodeling being in the works 2 years ago, but there is no sign of a remodeling. The service was ok, nothing special, but leaving the mop closet by the drinks section open and a mop handle sticking out almost tripped me over, plus, it's unsanitary to leave a filthy mop's handle touching the drinks area. The closet remained open like that during the time I waited in line, placed my order, got my drink, sat to eat, and got up to refill my drink for the road. I do appreciate the drinks machine that allows you to select tons of flavors of Coke and other beverages, but inside, the place looks outdated and the parking lot is filthy and hard to get to if you're traveling southbound. They don't even have a playground like other BK locations. I'm afraid that if they don't remodel their locations like McDonald's and Taco Bell has done (heck, even Chicken Kitchen has made their new location look like a lounge!), they will be closing shop soon. There's no way they can compete with these modern, inviting, clean locations.

Waited 25 minutes in the drive thru...25!! I was stuck between cars and while I did get some good online shopping in, 25 minutes is completely unacceptable, even for a Burger King. When I finally got my food I decided to give some of my grilled chicken sandwich to my toddler, so I open up the sandwich and staring back at me was a nice curly piece of black hair... Keep driving or get out of your car and eat somewhere else. Stop at Walgreens and buy a granola bar if your are hungry but DO NOT stop here.

Slowest drive thru and service ever!!!!! I know everything on the beach is tranquilo tropical but cmon!!! You're making me regret this oreo milkshake and fries with every passing minute!!

Would give NO stars if I could! This is the worst place I have ever been to for "fast food" The drive through took almost 40 minutes today- and NO APOLOGY from the cranky woman taking my order. This Burger King is near my son's school so occasionally when I'm in a pinch I'll drive through for an afternoon snack- and EVERY TIME I go through the service is slow, the staff are rude and unapologetic. The restaurant itself is filthy- below health code standards I'm sure!! Avoid this restaurant at all costs, or you will likely be put off your meal!!

Worst burger King is the entire world possibly. They take what seems likes years to get your order. The line is always long because they don't have educated workers. The people who work there are constantly rude and what seems like deaf. Don't come here EVER.

What's wrong with this BK it's great and old though.I ordered a Burger with fries and it was great like always the staff is friendly and this BK is clean

It's the slowest drive thru bk in the world. I've given it many chances but never again. They just take forever and the worst part is that you can't move out of the line, you are stuck in there with many other impatient cars... Not good.

I'm a Miami Beach resident for nearly 50 years, and I've been going to this Burger King for the past 30 years including my middle school and high school years. Its a bit dated and needs some remodeling but the food is great and the staff is friendly. Mind you, the location for this Burger King is surrounded by some old business establishments so it doesnt look out of place. 41st Street/Arthur Godfrey Road ain't South Beach. I always use drive-thru and found it pretty fast.

There is no King around this Burger joint. Service is slow, food wasn't that fast, although the food was correct. Fries were crunchy good, whopper was tasty and the new soda fountains got my drinky righty. I've had better Burger King experiences, but then again who loves to work for Burger King? ...other than Dane Cook's brother.

I tried so many time this place and today I wanted give them one last chance. Once my order finished the woman shouted at me a big "go away" why ? I was alone on line. I ordered large fries and I had a small one. But I keep the best for the end, I paid by cash and she said " I don't have 29 cent to give you back so I will give you only 25. It's only 3 cents but she doesn't have to do that. I will never go back

Ok. I'll admit I was starving and having a bad day (week?). I should be forewarned with the previous YELPS. Alas, I tread into dangerous waters. The nice part of waiting FOREVER in what has to be the worlds worst parking lot and drive thru design is that I am able to write the entire pitiful review. There is definite pleasure in accurately detailing the misery to share while one is trapped. A aware that once you have made the foolish mistake of the drive thru, there is no escape possible till the other side. That includes anyone who parks on the drive thru side.

Slowest drive thru in the world. Aprtite gone with incompetency or lack of saff. Completely inneficient the drive thru. 20 mins, 3 cars moved and decided to leave. Avoid

Terrible. Drive thru wait was 45 min. Ridiculous and inefficient.

While writing reviews for fast food is a little unnecessary, this place is just so bad I couldn't resist. My first, last, and only time physically going into the "restaurant" was when I saw a rat running around under the soda machines. Yum! I've visited the drive thru twice at around 2 am on Saturday nights and they were "closed." Just because you are too lazy to do your job does not mean you have the power to choose when you want to serve customers. This happened twice. It's a 24-hour drive thru. I went again today around lunchtime to get my sister an icee and there were 3 cars in front of us. We waited 15 minutes just to get to the order box and another 10 after that. I don't know what's up with this place but it has to be the worst of the worst of the worst.

  • Christina F.

They get three stars because they have the Coke Freestyle machine, which means I can have a Peach Sprite Zero, which means that the world is a happy place again. Beyond that typical slower BK experience, nothing good, nothing bad....just BK

Really bad place. I've been a Miami Beach resident for more than 10 years and I remember several years ago they had a different manager. She had more efficient people(and more employees), the place was cleaner and the service faster. I can easily deduce the number of costumers have decreased since then, this BK is dead. The person hiring this new manager is losing money. The service is unfriendly, they don't acknowledge you as they should, leave you waiting with half of your order and you need to notify them that they're missing items. The sandwiches have no sauce, dryer meats(old), you have to ask for ketchup as they removed their dispensers. The bathrooms are dirty, had a roll of brown paper on top of the sink, no dispenser. The soap dispenser falls apart when you try to get some soap. Trash cans exploding with garbage. An unfriendly place, definitely 1 star.

This is the worst Burger King I've ever experienced. I mean bar none. I'm very ashamed to say that I get some facsimile of food from here from time to time. Hey, it's convenient. I'm not proud of it. This place has been known to smell on the inside and be dirty on the outside and inside for that matter. The food is almost always sub-standard in relation to other BK's and the management sucks. You get the picture, you can stop reading now. Avoid, but if you don't, remember that I warned you. I just finished a steakhouse burger. Honestly... like cardboard; thick cardboard. If you're still reading, I have to write about this experience... going through the drive-through... "Can I have a whopper?" "The whopper meal?" "No just a whopper." "Just a plain whopper?" "No, a regular whopper, but not the meal." "Do you want cheese?" "No, just a regular whopper." I get home, open the package and reveal.... da, da, dum... a bun and a piece of meat. No condiments, no nothing. I call their number. I explain the situation. I ask to speak to the manager. Manager says, "I remember you." "Good, so then you understand." "No, you asked for a plain whopper." "No, I asked for a whopper, not in the meal." "No you didn't sir." "What? You're the manager?" "Yes." Temper lost, futile argument ensues. No satisfaction to be had.

Worst Burger King in Miami Dade county. Filthy. I have complained to BK Headquarters, and it will be renovated in 2012/13.

  • Nick K.

This Burger King not only has the worst service I've ever experienced at a fast restaurant, the service is SO slow I don't know how they can be called fast food. This is not based on one visit. Make sure you have a full tank of gas and a lot of patience if you decide to go through this drive through. Don't expect a smile, a hello, or even a thank you. The manager needs to be replaced with someone that knows how to run a business. This is my fifth and last time spending money here!

Could the people that work here care any less? I walked in to get lunch and there was a huge line of unhappy faces. I asked the guy who all ready passed through the line and was waiting for his food, "how long did you wait?" 15 minutes was his reply. I hope some Burger King Execs look at these Yelp reviews!
